Some adjustments will need to be made periodically to
properly maintain your tractor.
All adjustments in the Service and Adjustments section of
this manual should bechecked atleast once each season.
• Once a year you shouldreplace thespark plug,clean or
raplace airfilter, and check blades and belts for wear. A
newspark plugand clean airfilterassure properair-fuel
mixtureand helpyourengine runbetter and lastlonger.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT OIL OR GREASE THE PIVOT POINTS
WHICH HAVE SPECIAL NYLON BEARINGS. VISCOUS LUBRI-
CANTS WILL ATTRACT DUST AND DIRT THAT WILL SHORTEN
THE LIFE OF THE SELF-LUBRICATING BEARINGS. IF YOU
FEEL THEY MUST BE LUBRICATED, USE ONLY A DRY, POW-
15 DERED GRAPHITE TYPE LUBRICANT SPARINGLY.
