tachment as fo llows from the original date of
purchase.
2 YEARS -- Parts and Labor , when used for
household p urposes.
60 DA YS -- Parts and Labor , when used for
commercial, pro fessional, or income prod ucing
purposes.
30 DA YS -- Parts and Labor, if used for rental
purposes.
This warranty is not transferable and d oes not
cove r da m age or liab ilit y ca used by improper
han dling, improper maintena nce, or the use of
accessories and/or attachments not s pecifically
recommended by ELECTROLUX HOME
PRODUCTS , INC., for this tool. Additionally ,
this warranty doe s not cover tune--ups, spark
plugs, filters, sta rter r opes, sta rter springs, cu t-
ting line, o r ro tating he adparts thatwill wear and
require re placementwith reasonable useduring
the warranty pe riod. This warranty doe s not
cover predelivery setup or n ormal adjustments
explained in the instruction manual.

nia, all new small off--road engines must be
designed, built, and equipped to meet the
State’ s stringent anti--smog standards.
ELECTROLUX HOME PRODUCTS, INC.,
must warrantthe emission control system on
your small off--road engine for the periods of
time listed below provided therehas been no
abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance of
yoursmalloff--roadengineengi ne.Youremis-
sion control system includes parts such as
thecarburetorandtheignitionsystem.Where
a warrantable condition exists, ELECTRO-
LUX HOME PRODUCTS, INC., will repair
your small off--road engine engine at no cost
toyou. Expenses c overedunderwarrantyin-
cludediagnosis,partsandlabor. MANUFAC-
TURER’SWARRANTYCOVERAGE: Ifany
emissions related part o n your engine (as
listed under Emissions Control Warranty
PartsList) isdefectiveoradefectin themate-
rialsorworkmanshipoftheenginecausesthe
failure of such an emission related part, the
part will be repaired or replaced by ELEC-
TROLUX HOME PRODUCTS, INC. OWN-
ER’S WARRANTY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the small of f--road engine engine owner,
you are responsible for the performance of
the required maintenance listed in your in-
struction manual. ELECTROLUX HOME
PRODUCTS,INC.,recommendsthatyoure-
tain all receipts covering maintenance on
your small off--road engine, but ELECTRO-
LUXHOMEPRODUCTS,INC.,cannotdeny
warranty solely for the lack of receipts or for
your fai lure to ensure the performance of all
scheduled maintenance. As the small off--
road engine engine owner, you should be
aware that ELECTROLUX HOME PROD-
UCTS, INC., may deny you warranty cover-
age if your small off--road engineengine or a
part ofit has failed due toabuse, neglect,im-
proper maintenance, unapproved modifica-
tions, or the use o f parts not made or ap-
provedbytheoriginal equipmentmanufactur-
er. You are responsible for presenting your
small off--road engine to an ELECTROLUX
HOME PRODUCTS, INC., authorizedrepair
centeras soonasaproblem exists. W arranty
repairs should be completed in a reasonable
amountof time,not toexceed30 days. Ifyou
have any questions regarding your warranty

MENCEMENT DATE: The warranty period

This warranty shall be for a period of two

IS COVERED: REPAIR OR REPLACE-
MENTOF PARTS.Repair or replacement of
any warranted part will be performed at no
charge to the owner at an approved ELEC-
