BLOWER TUBE
The
BLOWER TUBE is designed to direct
the flow of air.
INLET RESTRICTOR
The
INLET RESTRICTOR improves the
blower function.
TUBE RELEASE BUTT ON
The
TUBE REL EASE BUTTON secures the
blo w er tube or elbow tube to the blow er
unit duri ng operation. Also, pressing the
tube release b ut t on a l l ows removal of the
blower tube or el bow t ube.
WARNING: You MUST make sure
the tubes are secure before using the
unit.
WARNING: Do not use the unit
wit hout t he tubes orcoll ecti on bag proper-
ly attached to avoid fl yi ng debr is and/or
impell er contact whi ch c an cause seri ous
injury. Always wear eye protecti on to pre-
vent rocks or debris from being blown or
ri cocheting into the eyes and f ace which
can result in bli ndness or ser i ous i njur y.
STOPPING YOUR UNIT
Slide the
ON/OFF switch to the OFF
position.
STARTING YOUR UNIT
Your unit has two run positions,
LOW
and HIGH. Slide the switch to one of
these positions to turn on the unit.

USING YOUR UNIT AS A BLOWER
WARNING: Inspect the area be-
fore using the unit. Remove all debris
and hard objects such as rocks, glass,
wire, etc., that can ricochet, be thrown,
or otherwise c ause injury or damage
during operation.
Use your unit as a blower for:
D Sweeping debris or grass clippings from
driveways, sidewalks, pa tios, etc.
D Blowing grass clippings, straw, or leaves
into piles, or removin g debris from cor-
ners, around joints, or be tween b ricks.
Direct air flow by directing the blower
tube down or to one si de. Al ways wor k
away fr om solid obj e ct s s u ch a s w alks,
lar ge stones, vehicl es, and f ences.
Cl ea n c orners by starti ng in co rners a nd

an accumulation of deb r is w hich could

USING YOUR UNIT AS A VACUUM
WARNING: Do not vacuum
stones, gravel, metal, broken g lass,
etc., to avoid severe damage to the im-
peller. To avoid the possibility of electri-
cal shock, donot attempttovac uum wa-
ter or other liquids.
Use your unit as a vacuum to pick up
dry material suc h as leaves, grass,
small twigs, and bits of paper.
D For best results during vacuum use,
operate your unit at high speed.
D Move slowly back and forth ov er the
material as you vacuum. Avoid forc-
ing th e unit into a pile of debris as
this can c log the unit.
D Keep t he vacuum tube about an i nch
above the ground for b est result s.
WARNING: If the unit becomes
clogged,stoptheunitandunplugtheex-
tension c ord. Wait until the impeller has
completely s topped turning, then re-
move the vacuum tubes. Carefully
reach into the vacuum opening and
clear out the clogged debris.
