SHOULDER STRAP ADJUSTMENT
1. Hold the unit as shown w ith the muffler side
facing away from your body and clothes.
2. Pass the shoulder strap o ver your head
and onto your right shoulder.
3. Extend your left arm toward the rear of the
vacuum bag.
4. Adjust shoulder strap until the vacuum
bag/shoulder strap seam lies between
your thumb and index finger.
5. Make sure air flows freely from the elbow
tube into bag. If bag is kinked, the unit will
not operat e properly.

THROTTLE LEVER
The THROTTLE LEVER is used to select the
desired engine speed and to stop the engine.
Move thethrottle lever tothe
position for
full speed operation. Move the throttle lever
to the
position for idle speed. To stop the
engine, move the throttle lever to the STOP
position.
PRIMER BUTTON
The PRIMER BUTT O N rem oves air from the
carbureto r a n d fue l lines an d fills them with fuel.
This allows you to s tart the engine with fewer
pulls on the starter rope. Activate primer button
by pr essing it and allowing it to r eturnto its or igi-
nal position.
CHOKE LEVER
The CHO KE helps to supply fuel to the engine
to aid in cold sta rting. Activate th e ch o ke by
moving the choke lever to the FULL C H O KE
position. Afterengineattemptstostart, movethe
choke lever to the HALF CH OKE position.
Once engine star ts, move c hoke lever to the
RUN position.
