Effective March 1, 2005 replaces all undated Warranties and all Warranties dated before March 1, 2005
Briggs & Stratton Power Products Group, LLC will repair or replace, free of charge, any part(s) of the equipment that is defective in material or
workmanship or both. Transportation charges on parts submitted for repair or replacement under this warranty must be borne by purchaser. This
warrantyis effectivefor thetime periodsandsubject tothe conditionsstatedbelow.For warrantyservice,find thenearestAuthorized ServiceDealer

THERE IS NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY. IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULARPURPOSE, ARELIMITEDTOONE YEARFROMPURCHASE,OR TOTHE EXTENTPERMITTEDBYLAWANYANDALL IMPLIED
WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUDED. LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARE EXCLUDED TO THE EXTENT
EXCLUSION ISPERMITTED BY LAW. Some states orc ountries do not allowlimitations on how longan implied warranty lasts, andsome states or

Thewarranty periodbegins onthedate ofpurchase bythefirst retailconsumer orcommercialend user, andcontinues forthe periodoftime statedin the
tableabove. “Consumeruse” meanspersonalresidential householduse byaretail consumer. “Commercialuse” means allotheruses, includinguse for
commercial, income producing or rental purposes. Once equipment has experienced commercial use, it shall thereafter be considered as commercial
useforpurposesofthiswarranty.Equipmentusedforprimepowerinplaceofutilityarenotapplicabletothiswarranty.Electricpoweredpressure
washers used for commercial purposes are not warranted.

CHASERECEIPT.IFYOUDONOTPROVIDEPROOFOFTHEINITIALPURCHASEDATEATTHETIMEWARRANTYSERVICEISREQUESTED,THE
MANUFACTURING DATE OF THE PRODUCT WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE WARRANTY PERIOD.
IMPORTANT: Manyunits aresold unassembledand cartoned.It isthe responsibilityof theowner toensureassembly isperformed perthe exactinstuc-
tionsasoutlined intheOperating&MaintenanceInstruction. Otherunitsarepurchasedpre-- assembled. Itis theresponsibilityoftheownertoensurethe
unitiscorrectly assembled.Theownermustcarefully checktheunitaccordingtothe instructionsintheOperating&Maintenance Instructionsbeforeitis
first used.
ABOUT YOUR EQUIPMENT WARRANTY
We welcome warranty repair and apologize to you for being inconvenienced. Any Authorized Service Dealer may perform warranty repairs. Most warranty
repairsarehandled routinely,butsometimes requestsforwarranty servicemaynotbeappropriate. Forexample,warranty servicewouldnotapply ifequipment
damageoccurredbecauseofmisuse,lackofroutinemaintenance,shipping,handling,warehousingorimproperinstallation.Similarly,thewarranty isvoidifthe
manufacturing date or the serial number on theequipment has been removed or the equipment has beenaltered or modified. During the warranty period, the
Authorized Service Dealer, at its option, will repair or replace any part that, upon examination, is found to be defective under normal use and service.This
warranty will not cover the following repairs and equipment:
S Normal Wear: Outdoor Power Equipment, like all mechanical devices, needs periodic parts and service to perform well. This warranty does not cover
repair when normal use has exhausted the life of a part or the equipment.
S Installation and Maintenance:This warranty does not apply to equipmentor parts that have beensubjected to improper orunauthorized installation or
alterationand modification,misuse,negligenc e, accident,overloading,overspeeding, impropermaintenance,repair orstorageso as,inour judgment,to
adversely affect its performance and reliability. This warranty also does not cover normal maintenance such as adjustments, fuel system cleaning and
obstruction (due to chemical, dirt, carbon, lime, etc.).
S Other Exclusions: This warranty excludes wear items such as quick couplers, oil gauges, belts, o-rings, filters, pump packing, etc., pumps that have
been runwithout water supplied ordamage or malfunctions resultingfrom accidents, abuse, modifications, alterations,or improper servicing or freezing
or chemical deterioration. Accessory parts such as guns, hoses, wands and nozzles are excluded from the product warranty. This warranty ex-
cludesfailures duetoacts ofGodand otherforcemajeureevents beyondthe manufacturerscontrol.Al soexcluded isused,reconditioned, and
demonstration equipment; equipment used for prime power in place of utility power and equipment used in life support applications.
