Dumping the Cargo Box
If equipped, use the electric dump box switch to raise the cargo box and dump cargo.
1. Select a level site to dump the cargo box. Do not attempt to dump or unload the vehicle
while parked on an incline.
2. Apply the brakes.
3. Set the park brake.
4. Place the direction selector in neutral.
5. Dismount the vehicle.
6. Ensure that the cargo is positioned evenly or toward the front of the cargo box.
7. Stand clear of the dump box. Release the tailgate latches and lower the tailgate.
8. Press and hold the top of the dump box switch to dump the cargo. Release the switch.
9. Press and hold the bottom of the dump box switch to lower the cargo box. Make sure the
box is fully seated on the frame before operating the vehicle.
10. Close the tailgate and secure both tailgate latches.
WARNING! Operating the vehicle while the cargo box is raised could result in severe injury. The box
could close unexpectedly and cause injury to the driver or passenger. The rear tires will also catch the
rear of a raised box, damaging the vehicle and creating hazardous driving conditions. Never operate
this vehicle with the cargo box in the raised position.
