3. On the GFCI module (Figure 36), verify that the green
POWER LED is ON.

4. Also verify that the AC voltmeter is registering a voltage
reading as indicated by Figure 41.
5. Next, press the button on the GFCI module and
verify that the green POWER LED turns  and the
red FAULT LED turns ON.

6. Also verify that the main circuit breaker switch trips to
the position.

7. Verify that the AC voltmeter (Figure 39) on the
generator reads zero volts.

8. To restore power, press the RESET button (Figure 40)
on the GFCI module and verify that the red FAULT LED
turns  and the green POWER LED should turn ON

9. Verify that the AC voltmeter is registering a voltage
reading as indicated by Figure 41.

NOTICE
It is recommended that the GFCI unit be tested when
the generator is initially taken out of the box. Then, the
generator should be tested daily at startup.

The GFCI module is designed to interrupt power when
a ground fault exists to prevent injuries and shock
hazards. operate the generator if this test fails.
Consult a qualified electrician for repair or replacement
of the GFCI module.
