DCA-10SPX3 — GENERATOR SHUT-DOWN PROCEDURE
10. The battery voltage gauge (Figure 26) will indicate the
voltage of the battery when the generator is operating.
Under normal operating conditions this voltage is
between 11.2 and 15.2 volts.

11. If there are no abnormal problems shown on the MPEC
LED display, turn both the MAIN and GFCI circuit
breakers to their ON position (Figure 27).

12. Observe at the generator's ammeter (Figure 28) and
verify that it reads the anticipated amount of current
with respect to the load. The ammeter will only display a
current reading if the load is in use.
13. The generator will run until manually stopped or an
abnormal condition occurs.

Engine Shutdown
To shutdown the generator use the following procedure:
1. Place both the MAIN and GFCI circuit breakers to the
"OFF position" (Figure 29).

2. Let the engine cool by running 3-5 minutes with no load
applied.
3. Turn the key to the 'STOP' position to shut down the
engine (Figure 30).
