GETTING THE MOST FROM YOUR PORTABLE CB
Range of a CB is generally determined by enviromental conditions. Range will be
severly reduced when operating in a vehicle or metal building. Use of a mobile or base
antenna will increase range greatly. Do not leave batteries in the unit for long periods of
time, the batteries may leak and destroy the unit. Keep the unit dry and protected from
moisture. If problems occur always check the batteries and antenna.
