Build Dates : 1980 to 1987 (check Hatch Identification Table for ranges with overlapping production
dates).
Identification : As the lid is lifted, it clicks through a series of positions at which the hatch will hold
open. The hinge has a black metal strap extending a short way over the acrylic. The
catch blocks are in the corners of the lower frame and the inside hatches do not have
red locking buttons.
Notes : These hatches have been out of production for some time and only a limited range of
spares is now available. If the hatch is damaged in the future it may be necessary to
fit a new hatch.
