Hitch Pin Locations
Refer to
The lower 3-point hitch pins and upper center bolt-on
bushing can be arranged in the A-frame hitch three
different ways depending on user preference.
Standard 3-Point & Quick-Hitch Hook-up
Refer to Figure 4-1:
This is the most commonly used arrangement.
1. The lower 3-point hitch pins are located in the bottom
clevis holes.
2. Bushings, if need, can be added to the lower 3-point
hitch pins when using a Quick-Hitch. (Lower 3-point
bushings are supplied by customer)
3. The tractor’s center 3-point link is attached to the
upper center hitch holes with a hitch pin and secured
with a hitch pin keeper. (Hitch pin and hitch pin
keeper are supplied by customer.)
4. The center bushing is for Quick-Hitch attachment
and is bolted in the lower center hitch holes.
Special 3-Point Hook-up
Refer to Figure 4-2:
This arrangement is used when the tractor’s lower
3-point arms will not lower enough to remove snow close
to the ground.
1. The lower 3-point hitch pins are located in the upper
clevis holes.
2. The tractor’s center 3-point link is attached to the
upper center hitch holes with a hitch pin and secured
with a hitch pin keeper. (Hitch pin and hitch pin
keeper are supplied by the customer.)
Special Quick-Hitch Hook-up
Refer to Figure 4-3:
This arrangement is used with a Quick-Hitch attached to
the tractor and the tractor’s lower 3-point arms will not
lower enough to remove snow close to the ground.
1. The lower 3-point hitch pins are located in the upper
clevis holes.
2. Bushings can be added to the lower 3-point hitch
pins when needed for the Quick-Hitch. (Lower
3-point bushings are supplied by customer)
3. The center bushing for Quick-Hitch attachment is
bolted to the upper center hitch holes.
