OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS
Reviewing Alerts
The JX-M133 weather receiver can store 10 different alerts/events with overlapping
effective time in its memory. If the receiver receives a new alert while a previous alert
is still in effect, it automatically displays the new alert message. Press the
UP " " or
DOWN " " button to review the past alerts, press the RIGHT>button to review
the ending time of this alert. If an alert is expired, the “EXPIRED” will display on LCD
after press the
RIGHT>button.
Deleting Alerts
The expired alerts/events can be deleted by press the
SELECT button.
1. Press the
UP " " or DOWN " " button to review the alerts.
2. Press the
RIGHT>button to review the ending time of this alert.
3. If an alert/event is expired, press and hold the SELECT button for 2 seconds to
delete it, the “DELETED” will display on LCD.
4. If an alert/event is still in effect, it can’t be deleted and “UNDELETE” will display
on LCD after press and hold the
SELECT button for 2 seconds.
LED Indicators
The JX-M133 features three LED indicators with different colors to express different
alert level as follows:
Yellow: Labeled ADVISORY and illuminated when an advisory level alert
is received.
Orange: Labeled WATCH and illuminated when a watch level alert is
received.
Red: Labeled WARNING and illuminated when a warning level alert is
received.
Note: The color-coded indicator will remain illuminated until the alert/event expires.
Alert Out Socket
The Alert Out socket is provided on the back of JX-M133. The socket’s output is
compatible with home automation alert devices for loud siren.
LCD Backlight Adjusting
JX-M133 features 4 levels LCD backlight (Off, Low, Middle, High), press the
SNOOZE/DIMMER button to set the brightness of LCD backlight.
