SETUP AND ADJUSTMENTS
Mower Deck Leveling
For proper performance in most conditions the
blade pitch needs tobe 1/4” lower in the front than
the rear.
Position machine on a flat surface. Preferably level
concrete.
Check tire pressure in all four tires. Inflation should
be 15 psi in each tire.
Align the blades so the tips point to the front/rear
of the mower deck.
Set the deck height level pin on the lift lever to 3 1/2
and lower the deck.
Loosen the bolts and nuts on all four lower chain
mounts just enough that they rise to the top of the
slots.
Using suitable blocks or stands, support the deck
front and rear, left and right so that the front tip of
the blades are at 3 1/2” and the rear blade tips are
at 3 3/4”.
Adjust chains in the slots to remove slack and
tighten securely.
Remove blocks and recheck blade measure-
ments.
Adjustments

Stop the mower and disengage the blades.
Raise the deck height lever to the transport posi-
tion.
Remove the height adjustment pin and place it in
the desired cutting height hole. Lower the lift lever
down onto pin. NOTE: Anti-scalp rollers must be
in the proper position for maximum deck floata-
tion. See the decal on the front deck for proper
settings. FIG - 4
