Starting the Engine
1. Open the fuel tank valve.

Set mower deck to the transport position

7. Push foot pedal fully forward for transport position.
Set pin at desired cutting height. (Height selection
pin is removed by rotating 180
O
.) Make sure that
the pin is inserted fully through the both sides of
the height panels.
The following conditions must be fulfilled before the
engine can be started:
• The blade switch for engaging the mower blades
must be depressed.
• The parking brake must be on.
• Both steering controls must be in the locked
(outer) neutral position.

Set deck to selected cutting height
2. Sit on the seat.
3. Raise the mower deck to the transport position by
setting the lift pedals fully forward.
4. Activate the parking brake.
