Fitting the loop handle
• Clip the loop handle onto the shaft. Note that the loop
handle must be fitted between the arrows on the shaft.
• Slide the spacer into the slot in the loop handle.
• Fit the nut, knob and screw. Do not overtighten.
• Now adjust the trimmer to give a comfortable working
position.
Tighten the bolt/knob.
Fitting the handlebar
• Position the handlebar as shown. Fit the mounting
components and tighten the knob lightly.
• Put on the harness and hang the machine from the
suppor
t hook. Now make a final adjustment so that
the machine is in a comfortable working position when
it hangs from the harness.
• Tighten the knob.
Assembling the guard
• Fit the correct trimmer guard (A) for use with the
trimmer head.
• Hang the trimmer guard on the hook on the plate
holder (1).
Bend the guard around the shaft and
tighten it with the bolt (2) on the opposite side of the
shaft.
