START AND STOP
WARNING!
Never start the blower if the
inspection cover is not closed, is
damaged or cannot be closed.
(Exception: When the vacuum tube
is fitted).
!
IMPORTANT!
Do not pull out the starter cord completely
and do not release the starter handle from
the fully pulled out position. Doing so will
damage the starter

Start
Cold engine
IGNITION:
Set the stop switch to the start position.
CHOKE:
Set the choke control in the choke position
(A).
The choke position is also the automatic
start throttle position.
AIR PURGE:
Press the air purge diaphragm repeatedly
until fuel begins to fill the diaphragm. The
diaphragm need not be completely filled.
Warm engine
IGNITION:
Set the stop switch to the start position.
CHOKE:
Set the choke control in the choke position
and then back again to its original position (B)
In this way only the start throttle is applied with
no choke.
AIR PURGE:
Press the air purge diaphragm repeatedly until
fuel begins to fill the diaphragm. The
diaphragm need not be completely filled.
