Before storing, drain all fuel from the unit.
Start engine and allow to r un until it stops.
S
Clean the unit befor e s toring. Pay particular
attention to the air intake area, keeping it free
of debris. U se a mild detergent and sponge
to clean the plastic surfaces.
S
Do not stor e the unit or fuel in a closed area
wher e fuel vapors can reach spar ks or an
open flame from hot water heaters, electric
motors or switches, furnaces, etc.
S
Store in a dry area out of the reach of chil-
dren.
TROUBLE CAUSE REMEDY
Engine will not
start or will run
only a few
seconds after
starting.

Ignition switch off.
S
Engine flooded.
S
Fuel tank empty.
S
Spark plug not firing.
S
Fuel not reaching
carburetor.
S
Move ignition switch to ON.
S

Fill tank with correct fuel mixture.

Install new spark plug.

Check for dirty fuel filter; replace.
Check for kinked or split fuel line;
repair or replace.
