will not start

Loss of power
o Loose or damaged wiring.
o Faulty solenoid or starter°

CORRECTION
o Check all wiring.
o Check/replace solenoid or
starter.
o Set in "Higher Cut" posi-
tion/reduce speed.
o Adjust throttle control.
o Clean underside of mower
housing.
° Dirty air filter_
o Low oil level/dirty oito
o Faulty spark plug.
o Dirty fuel filter.
o Stale or dirty fuel.
Water in fuel.
o Spark plug wire loose.
o Dirty engine air
screen/fins,
° Dirty/clogged muffler.
o Clean/replace air filter.
• Check oil level/change oil.
o Clean and regap or change
spark plug.
o Replace fuel filter.
• Drain fuel tank and refill with
fresh gasoline.
• Drain fuel tank and carbure-
tor, refill tank with fresh gaso-
line and replace fuel filter.
° Connect and tighten spark
plug wire.
o Clean engine air screen/fins.
