4. Route the new long harness along the outer edges of the enclosures following the path of the
original wiring as closely as possible. Use tie-wraps when necessary.
5. Attach the new long harness to the transponder in the CTEG4M Enclosure. See figure below for
details.

6. Verify system functionality.
Force the engine to crank, allowing failure to start. An error message should appear at
the head-end site.
Turn the generator ON. Head-end site operators should see the engine status as ON.
Turn the generator OFF. Head-end site operators should see the engine status as OFF.
Connect Power to the Enclosures
1. Reconnect the battery in the generator enclosure.
2. Switch the battery circuit breaker ON.
3. Switch the utility circuit breaker ON.
