Finally, set the tape speed (SP or SLP) with
▲ or ▼.Then press ENTER.

Press SET-UP to remove the menu.

Press STANDBY-ONy to turn off the
TV/VCR/DVD and set the timer recording.
The red REC/OTR light will appear on the front of the
TV/VCR/DVD.
You must turn off the TV/VCR/DVD to activate a
timer recording. If the power is not off and you
continue watching TV, TIMER REC STANDBY starts
flashing on the screen 2 minutes before the
programmed start time. In such case, turn off the
power to start the timer recording as scheduled.
•To correct information while
setting the Timer Recording,
press s to go back one step
and select the incorrect
information. Press ▲ or ▼ to
enter the correct information.
• While a timer recording is in
progress, the red REC/OTR
light will flash.
• If a timer recording is set for
hours or days later, you can
use the TV/VCR/DVD until
then. Just be sure to turn off
the TV/VCR/DVD about 5
minutes before the recording.
Set the Cable Box/Satellite
Receiver if appropriate.
• If the record tab is missing, the
videotape will eject when you
press STANDBY-ONy to
turn off the TV/VCR/DVD.
Insert a recordable tape for
the timer recording.
• If the tape ends before the
recording is complete, the
TV/VCR/DVD will stop
recording immediately and
eject the tape.
