Engaging/Disengaging the Brake Release Lever
ƽ WARNING
Ensure that the brake-release lever is in the engaged position before driving. There
should be an audible "click" when stopping and starting the scooter.
NOTE:Forthefollowingprocedure,refertoFIGURE 6.2.
Thebrakereleaselevermanuallyengagesanddisengagesthebrake.Thebrakerelease
leverislocatedundertheseatontherightside.
Thebrakemustbeengagedinnormaldrivingconditions.Activationofthethrottle
controlleverautomaticallyreleasesthebrake
sothatthepoweredscootercandrive.
Releasingthethrottlecontrolleverautomaticallyengagesthebraketopreventthe
poweredscooterfromrollingonitsown.
Whenthebrakereleaseleverisdisengagedandthekeyisremoved,thepoweredscooter
canbepushed.Thepoweredscootercannotbedrivenwiththebrakeinthedisengaged
position.
1. ToEngagetheBrakeReleaseLever(Drive)‐Pushthebrakereleaseleverdown.
2. ToDisengagetheBrakeReleaseLever(Push)‐Pullthebrakereleaseleverup.
