Tank Type and Relling
Important: The LPG tank used on this mower
is a special tank with internal bafes designed
for this application.
• Horizontal Tank Specications:
– Tank Material: Aluminum
– Capacity: 43.5 lb
– Disconnect Coupling: LH ACME Threaded
– Fuel Withdrawal: Vapor
– Fuel Shut-Off Valve: Rotate clockwise to
close.
• Type of Fuel: HD5 grade propane
• New tanks must be properly lled by trained and
qualied personnel.
• Only use tanks recommended by Exmark. Failure
to do so will result in improper operation of the
fuel system.
CAUTION
Under no circumstances should propane
tanks lled beyond 80% capacity be used in
service.
The use of overlled tanks may result in the
release of highly concentrated and extremely
ammable liquid propane. Refer to the
Safety section.
Note: Use of a “forklift” type liquid withdrawal tank
will result in icing or freezing of the LPG regulator
and prevent the engine from operating. This may
also result in permanent fuel system damage and the
release of highly ammable propane liquid or vapor.

Safety Interlock System
• LCD indicators appear for the PTO, park brake,
drive levers, and operator presence in the message
display on the RH control panel.
• PTO must be disengaged, brake engaged, and
motion control levers out (neutral lock) to start
engine. (It is not necessary for the operator to be
in the seat to start the engine.)
• Operator must be in seat when PTO is engaged,
brake is disengaged, or motion control levers are
moved in or engine will stop.
• Engine will stop if either the left, the right, or
both levers are moved from neutral lock position
while brake is engaged.
