Installation Procedure:
There is left and right hand thread that must be
assembled correctly.
step 1 Determine the left and right side (see
illustration).
step 2 Install adapter (2) onto the left end of the gear
case output shaft. Line up the 1/4” diameter
holes on the gear case shalt and adapter. Tap
the roll pin, (7) through the gear case shaft. The
roll pin can not protrude above the surface of
the adapter.
step 3 Install adapter (3) onto the right end of the gear
case output shaft. Line up the 1/4” diameter
holes on the gear case shaft and adapter. Tap
the roll pin, (7) through the gear case shaft. The
roll pin can not protrude above the surface of
the adapter.
step 4 There is no left or right brush section. Install a
brush section, (1) onto each gear case shaft
adapter.
step 5 Install end caps (4) onto each brush.
step 6 Install washers (8) onto each of the long hex
bolts.
step 7 Install the silver bolt (5) on the left side using a
7/16 wrench. (left hand thread). (max. torque 60
nIb.)
step 8 Install the black bolt (6) on the right side using a
7/16 wrench. (right hand thread). (max. torque
60 nIb.)
step 9 Test brushes to assure they do not slip.
