Section 5: Maintenance
WARNING Before inspecting, cleaning or servicing the unit, shut off engine, wait for all parts to come
to a complete stop, disconnect spark plug wire and move wire away from spark plug. Remove ignition
key on electric start models. Failure to follow these instructions can result in serious personal injury or
property damage.
*Interval describes running time.
**A hand-type grease gun is recommended when greasing your
unit. High-pressure type grease guns could cause damage to fit-
tings/seals.
***Consult engine manual for more detailed engine service infor-
mation.
****Clean more often under dusty conditions or when airborne
debris is present. Replace air cleaner parts, if very dirty.
