BLOWER TUBE
The
BLOWER TUBE is designed to direct
the flow of air.
INLET RESTRICTOR
The
INLET R ESTRICTOR improves the
blower function.
TUBE RELEASE BUTTO N
The
TUBE RELEASE BUTTON secures the
blo w er t u be or elbow tube to the bl ow e r
unit during operation. Also, pressing the
tube release button a ll ows removal of the
blower t ube or el bow t ube.
WARNING: You MUS T mak e sure
the tubes are secure before using the
unit.
WARNING: Do not use the unit
wit hout the tubes orcollect ion bag proper-
ly at t ached to avoid f l ying debris and/ or
impell er contact which can cause serious
injur y. Always wear eye protection to pre-
vent rocks or debris from being blown or
ri cocheting int o the eyes and face which
can result i n bli ndness or seri ous inj ur y.
STOPPING YOUR UNIT
Slide the
ON/OFF switch to the OFF
position.
STARTING YOUR UNIT
Your unit ha s two run positions,
LOW
and HIGH. Slide the switch to one of
these p ositions to turn on the unit.

USING YOUR UNIT AS A BLOWER
WARNING: Inspect the area be-
fore using the unit. Remove all debris
and hard objects such as rocks, glass,
wire, etc., that can ricochet, be thrown,
or otherwise cause injury or damage
during operation.
Use your unit as a blower for:
D Sweeping debri s or gr ass cli ppings
from driv ew ays, sidewalks, patio s, etc.
D Bl o wing gr a ss cl ippi n gs, straw, or
leaves into pil es, or removing debris
from cor ner s, ar ound joi nt s, or
betw ee n bri cks.
Dir ect air flow by dir ect i ng the blower tube
down or to one side. Alwa ys work away
from solid object s such as wal ks, larg e
stones, vehicl es, and fences.
Cl ea n corner s by starting in corner s and
moving outward. This will help prevent an
acc umulation ofdebr is which could fly into
your face. Be careful when worki ng near
plants. The for ce of the air could damage
tender pl ants.
USING YOUR UNIT AS A VACUUM
WARNING: Do not vacuum
stones, gravel, metal, broken glass,
etc., to avoid severe damage to the im-
peller. To avoid the possibility of electri-
cal shock, do notattemptto vacuum wa-
ter or other liquids.
D Use your u nit as a vacuum to pick up
dry material such as leaves, grass,
small twigs, and bits of paper.
D For best results during vacuum use,
operate your unit at high speed.
D Move slowly back and forth over the
material as you vacuum. Avoid
forcing the unit into a pile of de bris
as this c an clog the unit.
D Keep the vacuum tube about an inch
above the ground for best r esul ts.
WARNING: If the unit becomes
clogged,stop theunitand unplug theex-
tension cord. Wait until the impeller has
completely stopped turning, then re-
move the vacuum tubes. Carefully
reach into the vacuum opening and
clear out the c logged debris.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Disconnect power
source before performing maint enance.

The warranty on this unit does not cover
items that have been subjected t o opera-
tor abuse or negligence. To receive full
value from thewarranty , the operator must
maintain unit as instructed in this ma nua l.
