USING Y OU R UNIT AS A BLOWER
WARNING: Inspect the area be-
fore using the unit. Remove all debris
and hard objects such as rocks, glass,
wire, etc., that can ricochet, be thrown,
or otherwise c ause injury or damage
during operation.
Use your unit as a blower for:
D Sweeping d ebri sorgrass clippingsfrom
dri veways, sidewal ks, pat i os, et c.
D Blowing gr ass clippi ngs, str aw, or
leaves into pi l es, or r emoving debr i s
from corners, around j oi nts, or bet ween
bricks.
Direct air flow by directing the blower
tube down or to one si de. Al ways wor k
away fr om solid ob ject s s u ch a s w alks,
lar ge stones, vehicl es, and f ences.
Cl ea n c orners by starti ng in co rners a nd
moving outw ard. This will help pr event
an accumulation of deb r is w hich could
fly int o y ou r face.

USING YOUR UNIT AS A VACUUM
WARNING: Do not vacuum
stones, gravel, metal, broken g lass,
etc., to avoid severe da mage to the im-
peller. To avoid the possibility of electri-
calshock,do notattempttovacuumwa-
ter or other liquids.
Use your unit as a vacuum to pick up
dry material such as leaves, grass,
small twigs, and bits of paper.
D For best results during vacuum use,
operate your unit at high speed.
CAUTIO N: To avoid causing d am ag e to
the unit,
DO NOT attempt to use the vari-
able speed control d ur ing vacuum use.
D Move s lowly back and forth ov er the
material as you vacuum. Avoid forc-
ing the unit into a pile of debris as
this can clog the unit.
D Keep t he vacuum tube about an i nch
above the ground for best result s.
WARNING: If the unit becomes
clogged,stoptheunitandunplugtheex-
tension cord. Wait until the impeller has
completely s topped turning, then re-
move the vacuum tubes. Carefully
reach into the vacuum opening and
clear out the clogged debris.
MAINTENANCE
