S Use a soft brush to remove debris from all
air intakes and the cutting blade.
S Wipe off unit with a clean dry cloth.
LUBRICATE BLADES
S Stopthemotoranddisconnecttheunitfrom
the power source.
S Remove any debris o n blades.
S Cleanallpartsandcheckfordamage.Have
damaged parts replaced. Be cautious of
sharp edges.
S Apply a light machine oil along the edge of
the top and bottom straps.
NOTE: Ensure handles remain clean and
dry.
STORAGE
WARNING: Perform the following
steps after each use.
S Stop the unit and disconnect the power
source when not in use.
S Carry the unit with motor stopped.
S Store the unit so the blades cannot cause
injury.
S Store unit and extension cord indoors i n a
high, dry place out ofthe reach of children.
Store unit un plugged.
S Store unit with all gua rds in place. Position
unit so that any sharp object cannot acci-
dentally cause injury.
