ASSEMBLY
WARNING: Stop the unit and dis-
connect from the power source before
opening t he va cuum inlet cov er. The mo-
tor must be sto pped and the impel l er
blades no longer tur ni ng to avoid ser ious
injury from the rotating blade s.
WARNING: If recei ved assemb l ed ,
ensur e your unit is properly assembled
and all fast eners ar e secure.
S A standard screwdri ver is requi red for
assembl y.
Your blower can also be used as a
vacuum by purchasing an optional
vacuum k it (Model EBVA 1910). Con -
tact your authorized service dealer
for details.
BLOWER TUBE ASSEMBLY
1. Align the grooves on the blower tube
with the gro oveson the blower outlet.
2. Push the blowertubeon to theblower
outlet untilit snaps into place (tube is
secured by red tube release button).
3. To r emove the blower tube, pr ess the
tube rele ase bu tton while pulling on
tube.

SELECT AN EXTENSION CORD
Use only a 120 A.C. v oltage supply as
shown on nameplate of the unit to
power you r blower.
Theextensioncordusedtoreachthe
power sou rce must be:
D Specifically ma rked as suitable for ou t-
door use. The cor d mustbe marked wit h
the suf fix “W”.
D Heavy enough to carry full curr ent from
the po wer source to the uni t. Otherwise,
loss of power and ove r heat i ng can oc-
cur causing damage to unit. Refer t o
table for mi ni mum wir e gauge recom-
mendations. The cord must be marked
wit h t he properwire gauge. ( Appr opri at e
extension c or ds are available.) Do n ot
use mult iple c ords.
D In good condit i on. Cord insulati on must
be int act with no cracks or deter ior ati on.
Plug connectors must be unda m aged.
DO NOT use multiple cords.
