BLOWER TUBE
The
BLOWER TUBE is designed to direct
the flow of air.
INLET RESTRICTOR
The
INLET RESTRICTOR improves the
blower function.
TUBE RELEASE BUTTO N
The
TUBE RELEASE BUTTON secures the
blo w er t u be or elbow tube to the bl ow e r
unit during operation. Also, pressing the
tube release button al l ows removal of the
blower t ube or el bow t ube.
WARNING: You MUS T make sure
the t ubes are secure before usi ng the unit .
WARNING: Do not use t he unit
wit hout the tubes orcollect ion bag proper-
ly attached to avo i d f l ying debr is and/or
impell er contact which can cause serious
injur y. Always wear eye pro tection to pre-
vent rocks or debris from being blown or
ri cocheting int o the eyes and face which
can result i n bli ndness or seri ous inj ur y.
STOPPING YOUR UNIT
Slide the
ON/OFF switch to the OFF
position.
STARTING YOUR UNIT
Your unit has two run positions,
LOW
and HIGH. Slide the switch to one of
these positions to turn on the unit.

USING Y OUR UNIT AS A BL OWER
WARNING: Inspect the area be-
fore using the unit. Remove all debris
and hard objects such as rocks, glass,
wire, etc., that can ricochet, be thrown,
or otherwise cause injury or damage
during operation.
Use your unit as a blower for:
D Sweeping debris or grass clippings from
driveways, sidewalks, patios, et c.
D Blowing grass clippings, straw, or leaves
into piles, or removing debris from cor-
ners, around joints, or between bricks.
Direc t air flow by directing the blow er
tube down or t o one side. Al ways work
away f rom soli d ob ject s suc h as w alks,
lar ge stones, vehicles, and fences.

USING Y OUR UNIT AS A VACUUM
WARNING: Do not vacuum
stones, gravel, metal, broken glass,
etc., to avoid severe damage to the im-
peller. To avoid the possibility of electri-
cal shock, do notattemptto vacuum wa-
ter or other liquids.
Use your unit as a vacuum to pick up
dry material such as leaves, grass,
small twigs, and bits of paper.
D For best results during vacuum use,
operate your unit at high speed.
D Move slowly back and forth ov er the
material as you vac uum. Avoid forc-
ing the unit into a pile of d ebris as
this can clog the unit.
D Keep the vacuum tube about an inch
above the ground for best results.
WARNING: If the unit becomes
clogged,stop theunitand unplug theex-
tension cord. Wait until the impeller has
completely stopped turning, then re-
move the vacuum tubes. Carefully
reach into the vacuum opening and
clear out the clogged debris.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Disconnect power
source before performing maintenance.

The warranty on this unit does not cover
items that have been sub j ect ed to opera-
tor abuse or negl igence. To receive ful l
value from thewarranty , the operator must
maintain unit as instructed in this ma nua l.
Various adjustments will need to be made
peri odicall y to properl y maintain your unit.
