vent rocks or deb ris from being blown or
ricocheting into eyes and face which can
result in blindness or s erious injury.

when working with the unit in dusty envi-
ronments.
S Dress safely in long pants. Do not go
barefoot or wear sh ort pants o r sandals.
S Do not operate the unit when you are
tired, ill,upset, orif youareunder theinflu-
ence of alcohol, drug s, or medicat ion.

Keep loose hair , loose clothing, fingers,
and all other parts of the body a way from
openings and moving parts. Hair, jewelry,
loose clothing, or clothing with loosely
hanging straps, ties, tassels, e tc., can be
caught in moving parts.

ing as it should, has been dropped, dam-

return it to your authorized service dealer
for repair. Unplug the unit from t he power
source when not i n use, bef or e servi cing,
cleaning, perf or ming mai nt enance, or
stor ing. Do not put any object into open-
ings. Do not use wit h any opening
blo cked ; keep free of du st, lint , hair and
anything t hat m ay reduce ai r flow.

S To reduce the risk of electrical shock, use
extension cords specifically marked as
suitable f oroutdoor a ppliances. The elec-
trical rating of the cord must not be less
than the rating of the unit. T he cord must
be marked withthe suf fix “ W”. Make sure
your extension cord i s in good condition.
Inspect extension c ord bef oreuse andre-
place if da maged. An undersized exten-
sion cord will cause a d rop in line v oltage
resulting in loss of power and overheat-
ing. If in doubt, use the next heavier
gauge. The smaller the gauge number ,
the heavier t he c ord. ( NOTE: The c orrect
