LIMITED WARRANTY
ELECTROLUX HOME PRODUCTS, INC.,
warrants to the original purchaser that each
new WeedEaterr brand gasolinetool or at-
tachment is free from defects in material and
workmanship and agrees to repair or replace
under this warranty any defective gasoline
product or attachment as follows from the
original date of pur chase:
2 YEAR S -- Parts and La bor , when used for
household purposes.
90 DAYS -- Parts and Labor, when used for
commercial, professional, or income producing
purposes.
30 DA YS -- Parts and Labor , if used fo r rental
purposes.
This w arranty is not transferable and does n ot
cover damage or liability caused by improper
handling, improper maintenance, or t he use of
accessories and/or attachments notspecifically
recommended by ELECTROLUX HOME
PRODUCT S, INC., for this tool. Additionally,
this warranty does not cover tune-ups, spark
plugs, f ilters, starter ropes, starter springs, cut-
ting line, or r otating head pa rts that will wear and
require replacement with reasonable use during
the warranty period. This warranty does not
cover predelivery setup or normal adjustments
explained in the instruction m anual.

sions control system warranty on your year
2002--2004 small off--road engine. ELECTRO-
LUX H OM E P ROD UCT S, INC., m u st w a r ra n t
th e em issi on con t rol sy st e m on your smal l off--
road e ng ine for t he periods o f time listed b el ow
provided there has been no abuse, neglect, or
improper maintenance of your small off--road
engine. Y our emission control system includes
parts such as the carburetor and the ignition
system. Where a warrantable condition exists,
ELECTROLUX HOME PRODUCTS, INC., will
repair your small off--road engine at no cost to
you. E xpenses covered under warranty i nclude
diagnosis, parts and labor. M ANUFACTUR-
ER’S W ARRANTY COVERAGE: If any e mi s-
sions relate d p art on your e ngi ne (as listed un-
der Emissions Control Warranty Parts List) is
defective o r a defect in the materials or work-
manship ofthe engi ne causes the f ailure ofsuch
an emissionrelated part,the partwill berepaired
or replaced by ELECTROLUX H OME PROD-
UCTS, INC. OWNER’S WARRANTY RE-
SPONSIBILITIES: As t he small off--road en-
gine owner , you are responsible for the perfor-
mance of the required maintenance listed in
your instructionmanual. ELECTROLUX HOME
PRODUCTS, INC., recommends that you re-
tain all receipts covering maintenance on your
small off--road engine, but ELECTROLUX
HOME PRODUCTS, I NC., cannot deny war-
ranty solely for the l ack o f receipts or f or your
failure to ensure the performance o f all sched-
uled maintenance. As t he small off--road en-
gine owner , you should be aware t hat E LEC-
TROLUX HO ME PR ODUCTS,INC., maydeny
you warranty coverage if your small off--road
engine or apart o f it h as failed due t o a buse, ne-
glect, im proper maintenance, unapproved mod-
ifications, or the use o f parts not made or ap-
proved by the original equipment manufacturer .
You are responsible for presenting your small
off--road engine to an ELECTROLUX HOME
PRODUCTS, INC., aut horized repair center as
soon as a problem exists. W arranty repairs
should be completed in a reasonable amount of
time, not t o exceed 30 days. If you have any
questions regardingyour warranty rights andre-
sponsibilities, you should contact your nearest
authorized service center or call ELECTRO-
LUX HOME PRODUCT S, INC. , at

MENCEMENT DA TE: The warranty p eriod be-
gins on the date the small o ff--road engine is
purchased. LENGTH O F C OVERAGE: Th is
warranty shall be for a period of two years f rom
the initial date of purchase. WHA T IS COV-

PARTS. Repair or replacement of any war-
ranted part will be per formed at no charge to the
owner at an approved ELECTROLUX H OME
