W ARRANTY PERIOD:
Any
warr anted part which is not scheduled for
replacement asrequir edmaintenance, or w hich
is scheduled only for regular inspection to the
effect of “repair o r replace as necessary” shall
be warranted for 2 year s. Any w arr anted part
which is scheduled forreplacement asrequired
maintenanceshall b ew arr antedforthe periodof
time up to the first scheduled replacement point
for that part.
DIAGNOSIS:
The owner shall not
be charged for d iagnostic labor w hich leads t o
the determ ination t hat a warr anted part is
defective if the d iagnostic wor k is perform ed at
an approved PO ULAN/WEED EATER
servicing center.
CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES:
POULAN/WEED EATER may b e
liable f or damages to other engine components
caused by the failure of a warranted par t still
under w ar r anty.

:All
failures c aused by abuse, neglect, or impr oper
maintenance are not cover ed.
ADD--ON OR
MODIFIED P ARTS:
The use of add--on or
modified parts can be grounds for disallowing a
warr an ty claim . POULAN /W EEDEATER i s not
liable to cover failures o f w ar ranted parts
caused by the use of add--on or modified parts.

(cover ed up to m aintenance schedul e), Ignition
Module, Muffler including catalyst.
MAINTENANCE STATEMENT:
The owner is
responsible for the perform ance of all required
maintenance as defined i n the owner’s m anual.
This engine is certified to be emissions compliant for the following use:
Moderate (50 hours)
Intermediate (125 hours)
Extended (300 hours)
