Deck Belt Routing &
Replacement
9 Disconnect spark plug wire
9Apply parking brake
9 Lower the deck to its lowest position
9 Remove the belt covers
9 Disconnect tension idler
9 Roll the belt over the top of the deck pulleys
9 Remove belt
Removal
9 Install new belt by placing it around
the deck pulleys. Refer to routing
diagram below.
9 The belt will be loose at this time
9 Tightly secure the belt tension back
to its original position
9 Reinstall the belt covers
9 Reconnect spark plug wire
