Mufer and spark arrester maintenance
If the engine becomes sluggish and
low on power, check and clean the
spark arrester screen.
IMPORTANT!
If you note excessive carbon buildup, con-
sult with an authorized Shindaiwa servicing
dealer.
With a 4 mm hex wrench remove the 5.
three mufer bolts and the mufer.
Inspect the cylinder exhaust port for 6.

order of disassembly.

With a cross-head screwdriver 3.
remove the ve screws holding the
spark arrester screen and cover to
the mufer.
Remove the screen and clean it with 4.
