CHAIN GUARDS (Optional Equipment)
CHAIN GUARDS: Front and Rear Chain Guards (Optional Equipment) are recommended for higher than
normal usage (100 hours or more per year) and will provide protection from thrown objects with careful
operation. Chain Guards must be maintained in good repair by replacing missing or worn sections or by being
replaced when seriously worn or damaged.
Front Chain Guards
1. Attach Chainguard Plate (1) to deck using 5/8”
x 1 3/4” Bolts (4), Washers (5), and Locknut
(6).
Rear Chain Guard
1. Attach both Chainguards to deck using 1/2” x
1-1/4” Bolts and Locknuts. In center of deck
use 1/2” x 4" Bolt (7) and Locknut (5) to tie
both Deflectors (1 & 2) together.
