LIMITED WARRANTY
Poulan warrants to the original purchaser
that each new Poulan brand gasoline chain
saw is free from defects in material and
workmanshipandagrees t orepairorreplace
under this warranty any defective gasoline
chainsawasfollowsfromtheoriginaldateof
purchase.
1 YEAR -- Parts and Labor, when usedfor
Household purposes.
60 DAYS -- Parts and Labor, when used for
Commercial, Professional, or Income Pro-
ducing purposes.
30DAYS -- Parts andLabor,ifusedforrental
purposes.
This warranty is not transferable and does
not cover damage or liability caused by im-
proper handling, improper maintenance, or
the use of accessories and/or attachments
notspecifically recommendedby Poulanfor
this chain saw. Additionally, this warranty
does notcoverdamage caused byimproper
handling, improper maintenance, or if the
saw is alteredinany way wh ichinour judge-
ment affects i ts condition or operation. This
warranty does not cover tune--up, spark
plugs, filters, starter ropes, starter springs,
chain sharpening, bars, chains, and other
parts which wear and require replacement
with reasonable use duringthe warranty pe-
riod. This warranty does not co ver predeliv-
ery set--up, installation of guide bar and
chain, andnormal adjustments explained in
the instruction manual such as carburetor
adjustmentsand chaintensionadjustments.
This warranty does not cover transportation
costs.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES Y OU SPECIFIC

YOUR WARRANTY RIGHTS AND OB-
LIGATIONS: The U.S. Environmental

pleased to explain the emissions control
system w arranty on your year 2007 and later
small off--road engine. In California, all small
off--road engines m ust b e designed, built, and
equipped to meet the State’s stringent anti--
smog standards. Poulan must warrant the
emission control system on your small off--
road engine fortheperiods oftime listed be-
low provided there has been no abuse, ne-
glect, orimpropermaintenanceofyoursmall
off--road engine. Your emiss ion co ntrol sys-
tem includes parts such a s t he carburetor , the
ignition system and the fuel tank (California
onl y ) .Where a warrantable conditionexists,
Poulan willrepair yoursmalloff--roadengine
engine at nocost to you. Expenses covered
under warranty include diagnosis, parts and
labor. MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY
COVERAGE: If any emissions related part
on your engine (as listed under Emissions
Control Warranty Parts List) isdefectiveor a
defectinthematerialsorworkmanshipofthe
engine causes the failure of such an emis-
sion related part, the part w ill be repaired or
replaced by Poulan. OWNER’S WARRAN-
TY RESPONSIBILITIES: As the small off--
roadengineengineowner,youareresponsi-
ble for the performance of the required
maintenance listedinyourinstructionmanu-
al.Poulanrecommendsthatyouretainallre-
ceipts covering maintenance o n y our small
off--road engine, but Poulan cannot deny
warranty solely for the lack of receipts or for
your failure to ensure the pe rformance of all
scheduled maintenance. As the small off--
road engine engine owner, you should be
aware that Poulan may deny you warranty
coverage if your small off--road engine en-
gineorapartofithasfailedduetoabuse,ne-
glect, improper maintenance, unapproved
modifications,ortheuseofpartsnotmadeor
approved by the original equipment
manufactu rer. You areresponsible forpres-
entingyoursmalloff--roadenginetoaPoulan
authorized repair center as soon as a p rob-
lemexists.Warranty repairs should becom-
pletedin areasonableamount oftime,not to
exceed 30 days. If you have any questions

MENCEMENT DATE: The warranty period
begins onthe datethesmalloff--road engine

years from the initial date of purchase.
