This engine is certified to operate on un-

must be mixed with a good quality synthetic
2-cycle air-cooled engine oil designed to be
mixed at a ratio o f 40:1. Poulan/Weed Eater
brand synthetic oil is recommended. A 40:1
ratio is obtainedbymixing 3.2ounces(95ml)
ofoil with 1gallon (4liters) ofunleadedgaso-
line. DO NOT USE autom otive oil or boat oi l.
These oils will cause engine damage. When
mixing fuel, follow instructions printed on oil
container. O nce oil is added to gasoline,
shake container momentarily to assure that
thefuelis thoroughlymixed.Always readand
follow the safety rules listed under HANDLE
FUELWITH CAUTION.
IMPORTANT
Experience indicates that alcohol blende d fuels
(called gasohol or using e thanol or methanol)
can attract moisture which leads to separation
and formation of acids during storage. Acidic
gas can damage the fuel system of an engine
while in storage . To avoid en gin e pr ob lems,
empty th e fuel system befo re storage fo r 3 0
days or longer.Drain the g as tank, start theen-
gine a ndlet itrun u ntil th efuellinesandcarbure-
