INSTALLING ATTACHMENT
1. Remove the shaft cap from the attach-
ment (if present) and discard.
2. Positionlocking/releasebuttonofattach-
ment into g u ide recess of upper shaft
coupler.
3. Pushtheattachmentintothecoupleruntil
the locking/release button snaps into the
primary hole.
4. Beforeusingtheunit,tightentheknobse-
curely by turning clockwise.

WARNING: Make sure the locking/
release button is locked in the primary hole
andtheknob issecurely tightened beforeop-
erating the unit . Using the wron g hole could
lead to serious injury or damage to the u nit.

HANGER
Anattachmenthanger isprovidedforstorage
whenattachmentisnotinuse.Toinstallhang-
er on attachment:
1. Remove the shaft cap from the attach-
ment (if present) and discard.
2. Press and hold the locking/release but-
ton.
3. Push hanger onto the attachment unt il
the locking/releasebutton snaps into the
hole.
OPERATING POSITION
Eye Protection
ALWAYS WEAR:
WARNING: Inspect the area before
using the unit. Remove all debris and hard
objects such as rocks, glass, wire, etc., that
can ricochet, be t hrown, or otherwise cause
injury or damage during operation.
Use your blower attachment for:
S Sweeping debris or grass clippings from
driveways, sidewalks, patios, etc.
S Blowing grass clippings, straw, or leaves into
piles, or removing debris from corners,
around joints, o r between bricks.
Control air flow by directing the blower dis-
charge opening down or to one side. A lways
work away from solid o bjects such as walks,
large stones, vehicles, and fences.
Clean corners bystarting incorners andmoving
outward. This will help prevent an accumulation
of debris which could fly into your face.
Be careful when working near plants. The force
of the a ir could damage tender plants.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Always stopunitanddis-
connect spark plug wire (or disconnect pow-
erheadfrompowersource)beforeperforming
maintenance.

AND PARTS
S Housing Screws
INSPECT AND CLEAN UNIT
AND LABELS
S After each use, inspect complete unit f or
looseordamagedparts. Cleantheunitand
labels usinga dampcloth witha milddeter-
gent.
S Wipe off unit with a clean dry cloth.
