TIONS: The U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency , Environment Canada and ELEC-
TROL UX HOME PRODUCT S, INC. , are
pleased to explain the emissions control sys-
temwarranty on youryear2005and latersmall
off--road engine. ELECTROLUX HOME
PRO DUCTS,INC.,mustwarranttheem issi on
control system on your small off--road engine
for the periods of time li sted below provided
there has been no abuse, neglect, or improper
maintenance of your small off--road engine.
Your emission control system includes parts
suchas the carburetorand the ignitionsystem.
Where a warrantable condition exists, ELEC-
TROLUX HOME PRODUCTS, INC., will re-
pair your small off--road eng ine engine a t no
cost toyou. Expenses covered underwarranty
include diagnosis, parts and labor .
MANU FA CT URER ’S W ARRA NTY COVER-
AGE:If any emissions related parton youren-
gine (as listed under Emissions Control War-
ranty Parts List) is defective or a defect in the
materials or workmanship of the engine
causes the failure of such an emission related
part, the part will be repaired or replaced by
ELECTROLUX HOME PRODUCTS, INC.
OWNER’S W ARRANTY RESPONSIBILI-
TIES: As the small off--road engine engine
owner, you are responsible for the perfor-
mance of the required maintenance listed in
your instruction m anual. ELECTROLUX
HOME PRODUCTS, I NC ., recom m end s t h a t
youretainallreceipts coveringmaintenanceon
your smalloff--roadengine,butELECTROLUX
HOME PRODUCTS, INC., cannot deny war-
ranty solely for the lack of receipts or for your
failure to ensure the performance of all sched-
uled maintenance. As the small off--road en-
gine engine owner , you should be aware that
ELECTROLUX HOME PRODUCTS, INC.,
may deny you warranty coverage if your small
off--road engine engine or apart ofit has failed
due to abuse, neglect, improper m aintenance,
unapproved modifications, or the use of parts
not made or approved by t he original equip-
ment manufacturer. Y ou are responsible f or
presenting your small off--road engine to an
ELECTROLUX HOME PRODUCTS, INC.,
authorized repair center as soon as a problem
exists. Warranty repairs should be completed
in a reasonable amount of time, not to exceed
30 days. If you have a ny questions regarding
your warranty rights and responsibilities, you
shouldcontact yournearest authorizedservice
center or call ELECTROLUX HOME PROD-
UCTS, INC., at1--800--554--6723. WARRAN-
TY COMMENCEMENT DATE: The warranty
period beg ins o n the date t he small off--road
engine is purchased. LENGTH OF COVE R-
AGE:Thiswarranty shallbe fo raperiod oftwo
years from the initial d ate of purchase.
WHA T IS COVERED: REPAIR OR RE-
PLACEMENT OF P ARTS. Repair o r replace-
mentof any warranted partwillbeperformedat
no charge tothe owner at an approved ELEC-
TROLUX HOME PRODUCTS, I NC., servic-
ingcenter.Ifyou have any questions regarding
your warranty rights and responsibilities, you
shouldcontact yournearest authorizedservice
center or call ELECTROLUX HOME PROD-
UCTS, INC., at1--800--554--6723. WARRAN-
TY PERIOD: Any warranted part which is not
scheduled forreplacement asrequired mainte-
nance, or which is scheduled only f or regular
inspection to the e ffect of “repair or replace as
necessary” shall bewarranted for2 years. Any
warranted part which is scheduled for replace-
ment as required maintenance shall be war-
ranted for the period of time up to the first
scheduled replacement point for that part.
DIAGNOSI S: The owner shall not be charged
for diagnostic labor which leads t o the deter-
mination thatawarrantedpart is defectiveifthe
diagnostic work is performed at an approved
ELECTROLUX HOME PRODUCTS, INC.,
servicing center . CONSE QUE NTI AL D AM-
AGES: ELECTROLUX HOM E PRODUCTS,
INC., may be liable for damages to other en-
gine components caused by the failure of a
warranted part still under warranty. WHAT IS
NOTCOVERED:Allfailurescausedbyabuse,
neglect, or improper maintenance are no t cov-
ered. ADD--ONORMODIFIEDPARTS:The
use of add--on or modified parts can be
grounds fo r disallowing a warranty claim.
ELECTROLUX HOME PRODUCTS, INC., is
not liable to cover f ailures o f warranted parts
causedby the useof add--onor modifiedparts.

questions regarding your warranty rights and
responsibilities, you should contact your near-
est authorized service center or call ELEC-
TROLU X HOME PRODUCT S, INC ., at

RANTY SERVICE: Warranty services or re-
pairs shall be provided at all ELECTROLUX
HOME PRODUCTS, INC., service centers.

ment part used in the performance of any war-

ered up to maintenance schedule), Ignition
