SHOULDER STRAP ADJUSTMENT
1. Hold the unit as shown with the muffler side
facing away from your body and clothes.
2. Pass the shoulder strap over y our head
and onto your right shoulder.
3. Extend your left arm toward the rear of the
vacuum bag.
4. Adjust shoulder strap until the vacuum
bag/shoulder strap seam lies between
your thumb and index finger.
5. Make sure air flows freely from the elbow
tube into bag. If bag is kinked, the unit will
not operate properly.

THROTTLE LEVER
The THROTTLE LEVER is usedto select the
desired engine speed and to stop the engine.
Movethe throttle lever tothe
position for
full speed operation. Move the throttle lever
tothe
position foridlespeed. Tostop the
engine, move the throttle lever to the STOP
position.
PRIMER BUTTON
The PRIMER BUTTON r emoves air from the
carbur e to rand fue llines and fills them withfuel.
This allows you t o star t the engine with fewer
pulls on the starter rope. Activate primer button
bypressing it andallowing it to r eturnto its or igi-
nal position.
CHOKE LEVER
The CHO KE helps t o supply fuel to the engine
to aid i n cold star tin g . Activate the cho ke by
moving the choke lever t o the F ULL CH O KE
position.Afterengineattemptstostart,movethe
choke lever to the HALF CHOKE position.
Once engi ne st arts, m ove choke l ever to the
RUN position.
