W ARRANTY PERIOD:
Any w ar r anted part which is not schedul ed for
replacement asrequired maintenance, or w hich
isscheduled onlyforregular inspectionto the ef-
fect of “repair or r eplace as necessar y” shall be
warr antedfor2 year s. Anywar rantedpart w hich
is scheduled for r eplacement as requir ed main-
tenance shall be w ar r antedfor theperiod oftime
up to the first scheduled replacement point for
that par t.
DIAGNOSIS:
The ow ner shall not be
charged for diagnostic l abor w hich leads to the
determination that a w ar r anted par t is defective
if the diagnostic wor k is per formed at an ap-
provedPOULAN/WEEDEA TERservicing cen-
ter.
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES:
POU-
LAN/WEED EATER m ay be liable for damages
to other engine components caused by the fail-
ure o f a warranted par t s till under warranty.

: All failures cau se d
by abuse, neglect, orimpropermaintenance ar e
not covered.
ADD--ON OR MODIFIED
P ARTS:
The use of add--on or m odified parts
canbe groundsfor disallowinga war r antyclaim.
POULAN /WEED E ATER is not l iable to cover
failures of w arr anted parts caused by the use of
add--on or modified parts.
