SAFETY NOTICE: Exposure to vibra-
tions through prolonged use of hand

CONSTRUCTION
This unit is doubl e insulated to help pro-
tect against elect ri c shock. D ouble insula-
tion constr ucti on consists of tw o separ ate
“l ayers” of electr i cal insulation instead of
gr ound ing.

not int en de d to be gr o unde d . No ground-
ing m eans i s p r ovi ded on thi s uni t, nor
should a means of grounding be added t o
this unit . As a resul t , t he extension cord
used wit h t hi s unitcan be plugged int oany
polari zed 120 vol t electr i cal outlet.
Safety precautions must be observed
when operating any electrical tool. The
double insulation system only provides
addedprotectionagainst injuryresulting
from an internal electrical insulation fail-
ure.
WARNING: All electrical repairs to
this unit, including housing, switch, mo-
tor, etc., must be diagnosed and re-
paired by qualified service personnel.
Replacement parts for a double insu-
lated appliance must be identical to the
parts they replace. A double insulated
appliance is marked with the words
“double insulation” or “double insu-
lated”. The symbol
(square within a
square) may also be marked on the ap-
pliance. Failureto havethe unitrepaired
by authorized service personnel can
cause the double insulation construc-
tion to become ineffective and result in
serious injury.
