lift the trowel to unnecessary heights. DO NOT
stand underneath the trowel while it is being lifted. Serious
damage to the machine or personal injury could be caused
by dropping a trowel.
Starting the Engine
1. Place the engine fuel valve lever (Figure 20) in the
"ON" position.

2. Pull the throttle lever (Figure 21) backwards and place
in the "idle" position.

3. Place the centrifugal safety "STOP" switch
(Figure 22) in the "ON" position.

4. Place the choke lever (Figure 23) in the "OPEN "

NEVER disable or disconnect the centrifugal safety
"STOP" switch. It is provided for the operator's safety
and injury may result if it is disabled, disconnected or
improperly maintained.
