INTRODUCTION
To get the best out of your new apparatus, please read
thisuserguidecarefullybeforeusingitforthersttime.
We also recommend that you keep the instructions for
future reference, so that you can remind yourself of the
functions of your apparatus.
SAFETY MEASURES
• Incorrect use of this apparatus may cause personal
injury and damage.
• Use for its intended purpose only. The manufacturer
is not responsible for any injury or damage resulting
from incorrect use or handling (see also Guarantee
Terms).
• Connect mains adapter to 230 V, 50 Hz sockets
only.
• The apparatus, cord and adapter must not be
placed in water or any other liquid.
• Never charge the apparatus near a wash basin,
bathtub or the like.
• Never use in the bathtub.
o Can be used in the shower as long as it is not
plugged in to a mains outlet.
o If used in the shower, ensure that casing and plug
are completely dry before you recharge the trimmer
or put it away.
• Always disconnect from mains and switch off at on/
off switch before cleaning
• Keep an eye on any children in the vicinity of the
apparatus when it is in use. Children must not be
allowed to use the apparatus unless supervised by
an adult.
• The lubricating oil contains petroleum. Do not ingest.
• Do not use if cutting head is damaged. This may cut
the skin.
• For domestic use only. Not suitable for commercial
or outdoor use.
• Do not expose to temperatures under 0 ºC or over
+40 ºC or to direct sunlight.
• Check that cable and adapter are free of defects
every time you use the apparatus.
• Do not use the trimmer if it has been dropped on the
oororinwater,orhasbeendamagedinanyother
way.
• Never try to repair the apparatus yourself.
• If the apparatus, cable or adapter needs to be
repaired, they should be taken to an authorised
servicecentre.Unauthorisedrepairsormodications
to the appliance will invalidate the guarantee. Please
contact the store where you bought the appliance
for repairs under guarantee.

PRIOR TO FIRST USE
Beforeusingthersttime,fullychargethebattery(See
Battery Charging below), which takes approx. 12 hours.
Lubricate the cutting heads (2-5) with 1-2 drops of the
lubricating oil supplied (15).
USE
Trimming hair and beard
• Fit hair- or beard
trimmer head (2 or 3
respectively) to trimmer
(9).
o The heads have a
curvedproleonone
side which matches
that on the top of the
trimmer. If the head
does not click into
place, it is probably the
wrong way round. Turn
the head around and try
again.
• Fit the appropriate
guide comb onto
the trimmer head by
pressing into place from
above until it clicks.
• Press position lock
in and move comb
backwards or forwards
to the desired position.
Release position lock.
