SERVICE ELECTRICAL
5. Apply dielectric grease to terminals to prevent corrosion.
6. Install battery.
Using Booster Battery

A - Booster Battery
B - Disabled Vehicle Battery
1. Connect positive (+) booster cable to booster battery (A)
positive (+) post (C).
2. Connect the other end of positive (+) booster cable to
the disabled vehicle battery (B) positive (+) post (D).
3. Connect negative (–) booster cable to booster battery
negative (–) post (E).
4. Connect the other end (F) of negative (–) booster cable
to a metal part of the disabled machine frame away from
battery.
5. Start the engine of the disabled machine and run
machine for several minutes.
6. Carefully disconnect the booster cables in the exact
reverse order: negative cable first and then the positive
cable.
Replacing Fuse
1. Lift hood.

2. Pull defective fuse (A) out of socket.
3. Check metal clip in fuse window and discard fuse if clip
is broken.
4. Push new fuse into socket.
5. Lower hood.
Replacing Headlight Bulb
1. Lift hood.

2. Push in and turn bulb socket (A) 1/4 turn
counterclockwise to remove.
3. Replace defective bulb(s) with a new bulb.
4. Insert bulb socket into housing, push in and turn 1/4 turn
clockwise to install.
5. Lower hood.
Replacing Battery Discharge and Oil Pressure
Indicator Light Bulbs
NOTE: If more than one bulb is defective, replace only
one bulb at a time. Make sure light socket is installed in
correct holder.
1. Lift hood.
c CAUTION: Avoid injury! Do not attempt to jump
start a frozen battery. Warm to 16 degrees C (60
degrees F).
Do not connect the negative (-) booster cable
to the negative (-) terminal of the discharged
battery. Connect at a good ground location
away from the discharged battery.
