Lubricating the Cardan Shaft
- Turn the steering wheel right or left until the steering
stop is met.
CAUTION
Carry out services in the articulated joint area
only with the engine shut off.
- Remove the rubber protector.
- Adjust the top cardan shaft (1) by hand until the grease
nipples are easily accessible.
- Grease the top cardan shaft.
- Move centre cardan shaft (2) with starter, until grease
nipples are easily accessible.
CAUTION
Make sure no-one is standing in the area of
the articulated joint when the starter is
operated.
- Grease the centre cardan shaft.
- Adjust the lower cardan shaft (3) by moving the tractor
forward or back until grease the nipples are easily
accessible.
- Grease the lower cardan shaft.
- Refit the rubber protector at the articulated joint.
