8. Maintenance
1. Remove grass from under the deck
with brush
2. Using a soft brush - remove grass
clippings from all air intakes , the
discharge chute and the grass box

7. Storage
1. Remove the battery and safety key (see 5. Initial Operation)
2. Clean the product (see 9. Maintenance)
3. Charge the battery and store it separately (see 5. Initial Operation)
4. Loosen the Cam Locks to enable the handles to be folded over the
product .
5. Store the product in a dry place protected from frost. Do not store
outdoors. Keep out of direct sunlight.
The product must not be added to normal household waste. It must be
disposed of in line with local environmental regulations.
Important: Make sure that the unit is disposed of via your municipal
recycling collection centre.
The GARDENA Battery Mower contains lithium-ion batteries that
should not be discarded with normal household waste at the end of
their life.
1. Discharge lithium-ion cells completely.
2. Dispose of lithium-ion cells properly.

clean. Grass clippings left in any of the air intakes or under the deck
could become a potential fire hazard.

1. Stop your lawnmower as described
in Stopping the lawnmower.
2. Lift safety flap and insert the
mulching plug into rear discharge
chute , ensuring it is securely
fitted.

Your lawnmower is supplied with a mulching plug .
The mulching plug prevents grass from being collected by blocking the
collection chute on the underside of the deck.
