Installing OCD02 on Mower
Deck
Important: For Serial Numbers 790,000 and
higher, multiple accessories added to a base
unit can change the stability of the machine.
Read the unit operator’s manual to determine
if counterbalance weights are necessary for the
accessories installed on the unit.
1. Remove the oorpan.
2. Remove the discharge deector from the deck.
3. Remove the bracket from the discharge deector
and retain the hardware.
4. Use the template provided as a guide to cut off the
lip of the discharge deector. Fold the template
and align the three slots on the template with the
discharge deector as shown in Figure 2. Cut
along the bottom portion and the outer edges on
each side of template to remove the lip.

5. Reassemble the bracket, that was removed in step
3, into the discharge deector and fasten with its
hardware.
6. Install the foot pedal onto the toe board as shown
in Figure 3.

7. Install the cable bracket on the frame rail and
position close to foot pedal as shown Figure 4.
Secure the bracket with 5/16-18 x 2 1/4 inch
carriage bolt and nyloc nut.

8. Hook the end of the cable onto the foot pedal
and insert the cotter pin.
