Operation
To adjust the FRS bafes:
1. Stop engine, wait for all moving parts to stop and
remove key. Engage parking brake.
2. Remove hair pins and clevis pins from both sides
of the PTO guard (see Figure 5). Fold guard
forward.
3. Loosen nyloc nuts on the rear studs of the FRS
bafes.

4. Raise deck as stated in Raising the Mower Deck
to the Service Position section.
5. Remove bolt and washer at the front of each
of the FRS bafes. Rotate bafes into desired
position and reinstall bolt and washer.

7. Snug nyloc nuts on the rear studs of the FRS
bafes. These nuts may be left slightly loose if
frequent bafe adjustment is anticipated.
8. Reinstall PTO guard using clevis pins and hair
pins removed in step 2.
