ranty solely for the lack of receipts or for your
failure to ensure the performance of all sched-
uled maintenance. As the small of f--road en-
gine ow ner, y ou should b e aware that Jonsered
may deny you warranty coverage if your small
off--road engine or a part of it has failed due to
abuse, neglect, impr oper maintenance, unap-
proved m odifications, or the use o f par ts not
made or approved by the original equipment
manufacturer. You are responsible for p r esent-
ing yoursmall o f f--roadengine toa Jonseredau-
thorized repair center as soon as a pr oblem ex-
ists. War ranty r epair s should be completed in a
reasonable amount of t ime, not to exceed 30
days. If you have any questions r egar ding your
war r anty rights and responsibilities, you should
contact your nearest authorized service center
or call Jonsered at 1--916--383--3511.
WAR-
RANTY COMMENCEMENT DATE:
The war-
ranty per iod begins on the date the small off--
road engine is purchased.
LENG TH OF
COVERAGE:
This war r anty shall be for a peri-
od of t w o years from the initial dat e of pur chase.
WH AT IS COVERED : REPAIR OR RE-
PLACEMENT OF PARTS.
Repair or replace-
ment of any warr anted part will be per for med at
no char ge to the owner at an approved Jons-
ered servicing center. If you have any questions
regarding your warranty r ights and responsibili-
ties, y oushould c ontact your near est author ized
service center or call Jonser ed at
1--916--383--3511.
W ARRANTY PERIOD:
Any
warr anted part which is not scheduled f or r e-
placement as required maintenance, orwhich is
scheduled only for regular inspection to the ef-
fect of ”r epair o r replace as necessary” s hall be
warr anted for2 years. Any war r anted part w hich
is scheduled for replacement as required main-
tenance shall b e war r anted for the per iod of time
up to the first scheduled replacement point for
that par t.
DIAGNOSIS:
The owner shall not be
charged for diagnostic labor which leads to the
determination that a warr anted part is defective
if the diagnostic wor k is per form ed at an ap-
proved Jonsered servicing center.
CONSE-
QUENTIAL DAMAGES:
Jonsered m ay be li-
able for damages to other engine components
caused by the failure of a war r anted part s till un-
der warr anty.
WH AT IS NOT COVERED:
All
failures caused by abuse, neglect, or impr oper
maintenance are not covered.
ADD--ON OR
MODIFIED P ARTS:
The use of add--on or
modified parts can b e g rounds for disallowing a
war ranty claim. Jonsered is not liable to cover
failures of warranted parts caused by the use of
add--on or modified par ts.

CLAIM:

WHERE TO GET WARRANTY SERVICE:
War r anty services or repairs shall be provided
at all J onser ed ser vice centers. Call

MAINTENANCE, RE-

RELA TED PARTS:
Any Jonsered approved
replacement par t used i n the perfor mance of
any warr anty maintenance o r r epair on emis-
sion related parts will be provided without
charge to the o w ner if the part is underwarranty.
EMISSION CONTROL WARRANTY P ARTS
LIST:
Carbur etor, Ignition System: Spark Plug
(cover ed up to maintenance schedule), Ignition
Module.
MAINTENANCE ST ATEMENT:
The
owner is responsible for the performance of all
required m aintenance as defined in the instr uc-
tion manual.
The information on the product label indicates which standard your engine is certified.
Example: (Year) EPA Phase 1 or Phase 2 and/or CALIFORNIA.
